Biografía de Enrique Uribe White

Nació en Tuluá el 25 de Abril de 1898, hijo de Tomás Uribe Uribe y Alicia White de Uribe. Estudió en la escuela de Minas de la Universidad Antioquia; especializado en la MIT de Boston. Ingeniero Matemático,constructor de veleros, navegante, historiador, astronomo, dibujante, escritor, investigador, fotografo, poeta del Concejo de Tuluá.
Director de la Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia 1941-1948
Presidente de la Asamblea del Valle, representante de la Camara 1935-1936.
Director de la revista PAM 1935-1940, escribió en la revista de América y el Tiempo, miembro de la Sociedad Colombiana de Agricultores
